It has been almost five years since the important historic spring chest organ of the former Corvey abbey church unfolded its edifying sound during a final concert. Now the time of silence is over: after extensive restoration and reconstruction, the precious instrument has returned to its empty place in the gallery, supported by angels. On Saturday 12 June, it was consecrated by Auxiliary Bishop Manfred Grothe. Church musician Jörg Kraemer makes the organ sound.
